What Are Eyelash Extensions?
They are synthetic and natural fibers that are attached to your own lashes, one by one, by means of a medical grade adhesive for the purpose of adding length, curl and volume to your natural lashes. They are soft, light weight, flexible and they cannot be sensed. Best of all, no one will suspect that you are wearing them! To maintain the look, touchup appointments are necessary every three to four weeks to replace the lashes that have shed or outgrown naturally.
What does the application process involve?
Your session begins by having you recline on one of our special beds. The lash artist is seated behind you and you are asked to close your eyes for the entire application process. You will not even feel your lash artist working on you, and you may fall asleep as many clients do. You will open your eyes at the end of the session to a new you!
Transform yourself in 2 hours or less and have the lashes you always wanted.
Get ready in moments! Eliminate the need for mascara and go beyond the confines of your natural lashes.
A minimum of 100 extensions per eye are attached to your natural lashes one by one, with precision and artistry.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you are using a lash growth program that is stronger in nature, such as Latisse, we recommend that you do not use the brushes that it comes with. Please use a liquid eyeliner brush and apply sparingly. Good news is that a one months supply is actually a 5-month supply when used this way and you will see the same results. Also, by using sparingly, the other side effect possibilities are significantly diminished.
False eyelash strips are the oldest and probably most well known product. They involve using a gummy adhesive that touches the skin, and are the least natural looking. Lash strips only last a day and can come off or dislodge during the course of wear. Flares, clusters, and lash tabs are often misrepresented in the market as “individual” eyelash extensions. These products consist of between 3 to 8 lash bunches with a node or knot at the end. Application involves adhesive touching the skin or the node is adhered to multiple natural lash bases, which often damage the natural lashes.
Am I a candidate for eyelash extensions?
Almost anyone can enjoy the benefit of eyelash extensions, but certain conditions can make them inappropriate for you. If one or more of the following conditions applies to you, you may not be a good candidate for eyelash extensions:
Many of our clients are on lash growing programs and these products do not harm the extensions. The more lashes one has, the more extensions we can apply. The natural non medication lash growing liquids must be applied twice a day consistently for two months. The liquid must be precisely applied and evenly distributed as it is possible to grow hair in undesirable places or create patches of thicker lashes. These serums can also be used on brows.
